On July 1st about 150 inhabitants of the Pallady shelter, run by the city hall of Bucharest were expelled by force from their beds at 7 in the morning and put on the street. The operation which was not previously announced to the inhabitants was conducted by the private security company Argo Security, who entered masked and with force, no official of the center was present, and no document presented.

People were not provided with any food or water on a day where a red alert is announced as a heat wave causes temperatures to rise above 40 Celsius. Amongst the 150 were people from all walks of life, traumatised victims of domestic violence, disabled and severely ill people, some people who can not move without assistance but also people who have to go to work the next day.
